“If you share your bread, you will like it more. If you share your happiness then it will increase. ”
Life has become hard for every person since the outbreak of the COVID-19 Virus. Many people had to go to their nearest supply center to be able to spend the time of quarantine, people being forced to shut themself up in his house with their family and so not being infected.
The level of infections around the world became such that hugging was already part of the past and social distancing became part of each person’s daily life; However, what happened to those people who didn’t have a monthly salary? What happened to those who lived from their daily work? What about those who lost their jobs? What about the most vulnerable children? Suddenly in the news, people began to go out with banners asking for help, children begging for food, family violence increased around the world by around 30%.
Seeing the need of people, our team started with a Facebook campaign called DO YOUR PART, SHARE; where the idea was: with what his heart had, each person could share with those who were suffering from need, this campaign was centralized in Honduras in the department of Cortes, San Pedro Sula. And with the support of our team, friends and family in Honduras and the United States.
We begin to manage support for this emergency to reach people with a food kit valued at L. 500.00, in Las Torres de Coalsa, 33 Street, San Pedro Sula 21103, and at Second Peripheral Ring of San Pedro Sula; in the delivery, we could see people in need, people with disabilities, in each delivery we could see happiness in people, thankful with God for this help, but above all we could see Hope in the eyes of every single person Hope in people, Hope, that there is still an opportunity for them, an opportunity to keep going, to continue fighting.
On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, more than 85 food kits were delivered; this was the engine that drove us to the development of COMPARTE ORGANIZATION to continue. Our goal is reaching 500 families, especially single mothers, women with disabilities, boys and girls from Honduras, because more than giving a smile, we want to continue giving hope to all those women who struggle every day to make their dream come true, to take care of their family, their sons and daughters, we invite you to join us and be a bearer of hope for these people who need us.
